Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), 53-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Reno upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Huskies travel to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV) to face the Mustangs in a 4A Northern match on Tuesday, January 28. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 12-8. Damonte Ranch won 72-45 in their recent league match against Carson (Carson City, NV)

The Raiders now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host McQueen for a 4A Northern match on Monday, January 27. Reed will face a Lancers squad coming off a 62-41 league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 11-10.
