The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) and the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), observed McQueen's basketball team overcome Reed by a score of 58-50.

The Lancers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Galena dropped by North Valleys (Reno, NV), 70-64, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Friday, December 20. Reed will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 49-40 league win over Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV).
