The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) and the visiting Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), observed Galena's basketball team edge Reed by a score of 59-56.

The Grizzlies (9-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 15-8 record. In their last challenge, Damonte Ranch edged Douglas (Minden, NV), 53-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Friday, February 7. Reed will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 19-4 record after their 72-43 league win over McQueen (Reno, NV).
