The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) and the host Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV), observed Reno's basketball team overwhelm Reed by a score of 70-36.

The Huskies (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Mustangs come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Damonte Ranch trounced Carson (Carson City, NV), 80-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Monday, January 6. Reed will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Senators come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 80-54 league loss to Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV).
