The Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS) basketball crushed the host Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), 52-28 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Gators now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Olive for a 1A Region 7 bout on Thursday, January 16. Leake County will play a Pirates team coming off a 36-32 league loss to Mississippi School for the Deaf (Jackson, MS). The Pirates record now stands at 0-11.
