The Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) basketball were winner over the host Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 53-45 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Person for a bout on Friday, January 17. Western Alamance will play a Rockets team coming off a 70-37 non-league win over Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Cedar Ridge falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Fighting red wolves host Williams (Burlington, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-6.
