In Saturday's non-league outing, the Grand Rapids Thunderhawks (Grand Rapids, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN), by a margin of 66-49.

The Thunderhawks (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bemidji (Bemidji, MN). The Lumberjacks go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record.

The Tigers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Becker for a AAA Section 5 outing on Friday, January 21. Princeton will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-52 non-league win over Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.
