North Carolina High School Basketball - Calvary Day School can't hold off Forsyth Country Day
January 16, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 The Calvary Day School Cougars basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was nudged 59-55 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC)
The Furies now possess a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wesleyan Christian Academy for a NCISAA Piedmont battle on Friday, January 19. Forsyth Country Day will battle a Trojans team coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Grace Christian (Sanford, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 15-7.
The Cougars (11-12) will now prepare for their battle against Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC). The Wildcats come into the NCISAA Piedmont battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Westchester Country Day was nudged by Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC), 78-52, in a league battle.
