The Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX), 76-49 in Tuesday's league test.

The Sabercats (23-5) will now prepare for their test against Valley View (Pharr, TX). The Tigers go into the 5A Region IV District 31 test with a 11-17 record. In their last test, Valley View walloped Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX), 56-42, in a league test.
