The Rowe Warriors basketball team (McAllen, TX), dropped 58-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

The Sabercats now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North for a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Friday, December 22. Vela will battle a Raiders team coming off a 47-44 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-10.

With the defeat, Rowe moves to 14-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sharyland (Mission, TX) to meet the Rattlers in a 5A Region IV District 31 match on Friday, December 22. The Rattlers enter the match with a record of 6-8. Sharyland won 41-40 in their recent league match against Valley View (Pharr, TX)
