Minnesota High School Basketball - Central nudges New Ulm
January 17, 2023: Norwood-Young America, MN 55397 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN), by a margin of 85-81.
The Raiders (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Wolverines go into the AA Section 2 outing with a 4-10 record. In their last outing, Sibley East was tipped by Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN), 75-63, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they host St. Peter for a AAA Section 2 outing on Friday, January 20. New Ulm will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 89-53 non-league loss to Delano (Delano, MN). The Saints record now stands at 1-11.
