Virginia High School Basketball - Loudoun County succumbs to Broad Run

January 17, 2025: Ashburn, VA 20147

The Broad Run Spartans defeated the visiting Loudoun County Captains basketball squad by a final score of 46-36 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Heritage Pride (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 23. Broad Run will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Pride come into the outing with a 11-3 record after their 68-41 league win over Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA).

The Captains (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Dominion topped Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA), 39-37, in a league contest.
