The Valley Vikings topped the host Weld Central Rebels basketball team by a final score of 38-26 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the University Bulldogs (Greeley, CO) in a 4A Patriot game, on Saturday, January 20. Valley will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 54-22 league win over Sterling (Sterling, CO).

With the defeat, Weld Central moves to 4-8 on the year. The Rebels travel to Eaton (Eaton, CO) to face the Reds in a 4A Patriot game on Saturday, January 20. The Reds enter the game with a record of 7-5. Eaton won 61-28 in their recent league game against Valley (Gilcrest, CO)
