The Lawrence Lancers basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Methuen Rangers to 56 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boston College High for a non-league contest on Sunday, January 21. Lawrence will battle a Eagles team coming off a 75-66 league loss to Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.

The Rangers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA). The Lions enter the Merrimack Valley - Small contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Chelmsford was routed by Dracut (Dracut, MA), 54-44, in a league contest.
