In Friday's league outing, the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) basketball squad felled the visiting McKinney North Bulldogs (McKinney, TX), by a margin of 56-43.

The Bearcats (24-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Leopards go into the 5A Region II District 13 outing with a 7-12 record. In their last outing, Lovejoy was beaten by Greenville (Greenville, TX), 60-49, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Denison for a 5A Region II District 13 outing on Tuesday, January 23.
