Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY), 78-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Nichols upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY) to play the Marauders in a Monsignor Martin bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Marauders go into the bout with a record of 4-6. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute won 44-39 in their recent league bout against Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY)

Next up, the Lancers play the Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY) in a Monsignor Martin bout, on Tuesday, January 23. St. Mary's will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
