The Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball crushed the visiting High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 50-11 in Friday's league test.

The Camels (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the 3A Mid-State test with a 12-2 record.

The Bison now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Southern Guilford for a 3A Mid-State test on Tuesday, January 23. High Point Central will encounter a Storm squad coming off a 52-21 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC). The Storm record now stands at 4-12.
