The High Point Central Bison basketball team (High Point, NC), was overwhelmed 51-7 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dudley for a 3A Mid-State battle on Friday, January 12. Rockingham County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 65-21 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-4.
