The Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) basketball crushed the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), 54-11 in Friday's non-league test.

The Storm (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC). The Camels go into the 3A Mid-State test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Atkins was trounced by Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC), 55-40, in a league test.

The Bison now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Northeast Guilford for a 3A Mid-State test on Friday, January 5. High Point Central will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 52-35 league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Rams record now stands at 4-3.
