North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Central trounced by Atkins

February 13, 2024: High Point, NC 27262

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Atkins Camels basketball team scored a decisive 56-12 triumph over the High Point Central Bison.

In their next game, the Camels meet the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a 3A Mid-State match, on Friday, February 16. Atkins will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 54-33 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC).

With the defeat, High Point Central moves to 0-22 on the year. The Bison travel to Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Storm in a 3A Mid-State match on Friday, February 16. The Storm enter the match with a record of 6-17. Southern Guilford lost 43-28 in their recent league match against Dudley (Greensboro, NC)
