In Friday's league match, the visiting South Tahoe Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 59-25 triumph over the Sparks Railroaders.

In their next game, the Vikings face the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) in a 3A Northern - West match, on Saturday, January 20. South Tahoe will attempt to move on its 11-7 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 13-5 record after their 70-51 league win over Wooster (Reno, NV).
