Nevada High School Basketball - South Tahoe knocked off by Churchill County

The Churchill County Greenwave basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting South Tahoe Vikings to 41 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Friday.

The Greenwave now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Churchill County will meet a Pirate team coming off a 41-25 non-league win over American Heritage Academy (Henderson, NV). The Pirate record now stands at 1-5.

The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Mineral County was outscored by Eureka (Eureka, NV), 69-7, in a non-league contest.
