The Northwestern Trojans basketball team (Rock Hill, SC), was overwhelmed 82-47 in Friday's league battle with the host South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC)

The Stallions now possess a 19-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Camden for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 21. South Pointe will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 83-26 league win over Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-2.

The Trojans (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC). The Copperheads come into the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Catawba Ridge trounced Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC), 67-49, in a league battle.
