South Carolina High School Basketball - Catawba Ridge nudges Northwestern

Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC), 44-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Catawba Ridge upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Copperheads host South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) to clash with the Stallions in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, January 27. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 20-1. South Pointe won 79-29 in their recent league bout against York (York, SC)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 27. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 49-33 league win over Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC).
