South Carolina High School Basketball - Northwestern tops Lancaster

January 27, 2023: Lancaster, SC 29720

Northwestern Trojans (Rock Hill, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC), 46-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northwestern upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC) to play the Warriors in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 4-16. Indian Land lost 38-18 in their recent league bout against York (York, SC)

Next up, the Bruins play the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Stallions come into the bout with a 20-2 record after their 69-60 league loss to Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC).
