In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Morrill Lions basketball team scored a good 57-41 triumph over the Hay Springs Hawks.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers (Lingle, WY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 23. Morrill will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Doggers enter the match with a 11-2 record after their 62-26 non-league win over Guernsey-Sunrise (Guernsey, WY).
