Washington, DC High School Basketball - Idea over DC International
January 23, 2024: Washington, DC 20019 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Idea Timberwolves (Washington, DC) and the visiting DC International Dragons (Washington, DC), saw Idea's basketball squad overcome DC International by a tally of 62-44.
With the victory, Idea improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD) to confront the Wildebeests in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Wildebeests come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Sandy Spring Friends won 95-27 in their recent league challenge against Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Washington Leadership Academy (Washington, DC) in a PCSAA A challenge, on Thursday, January 25. DC International will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 60-23 league win over Richard Wright Public Charter School (Washington, DC).
