Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Peter holds off Waseca
January 23, 2024: St. Peter, MN 56082 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Peter Saints (St. Peter, MN) and the visiting Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN), saw St. Peter's basketball squad hold off Waseca by a tally of 79-77.
With the victory, St. Peter improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Worthington (Worthington, MN) to confront the Trojans in a AAA Section 2 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Worthington lost 79-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Spirit Lake (Spirit Lake, IA)
Next up, the Bluejays confront the Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Waseca will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 76-68 non-league win over Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN).
