In Tuesday's league match, the host Robinson Bulldogs basketball team scored a decisive 57-21 triumph over the Carson Cougars.

In their next game, the Bulldogs meet the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont match, on Thursday, January 25. Robinson will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Spiders enter the match with a 6-10 record after their 59-24 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

With the defeat, Carson moves to 1-15 on the year. The Cougars travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to meet the Mustangs in a 3A South Piedmont match on Wednesday, January 24.
