In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Medicine Valley Raiders basketball team scored a tight 56-50 triumph over the Southwest Roughriders.

In their next game, the Raiders meet the Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. Medicine Valley will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 61-42 league loss to Bertrand (Bertrand, NE).
