Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage nips Chugiak
January 24, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99516 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), observed South Anchorage's basketball team edge Chugiak by a margin of 50-47.
The Wolverines (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Wolves come into the 4A Cook Inlet challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Eagle River was tipped by Soldotna (Soldotna, AK), 68-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Holy Rosary Academy Knights (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Chugiak will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 53-25 league loss to Birchwood Christian (Chugiak, AK).
