The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Leake County Gators (Walnut Grove, MS) and the visiting Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), observed Leake County's basketball team overwhelm Stringer by a margin of 44-21.

The Gators (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Olive (Mount Olive, MS). The Pirates come into the 1A Region 7 challenge with a 0-13 record. In their last challenge, Mount Olive was trounced by Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS), 50-7, in a league challenge.
