In Wednesday's non-league outing, the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) basketball squad edged the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), by a margin of 49-42.

The Rams (6-14) will now prepare for their outing against Enka (Enka, NC). The Jets go into the 3A/4A Conference 53 outing with a 17-3 record. In their last outing, Enka held off Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 78-62, in a non-league outing.

The Hilltoppers now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Polk County for a 2A Conference 41 outing on Thursday, January 26.
