January 25, 2024: Ashland, NE 68003 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) and the visiting Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE), saw Ashland-Greenwood's basketball squad overcome Platteview by a tally of 41-27.
With the victory, Ashland-Greenwood improves its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Boys Town (Boys Town, NE) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Boys Town lost 74-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Concordia (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Nebraska City Pioneers (Nebraska City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Platteview will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 2-13 record after their 64-39 non-league loss to Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE).
