North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions thwarts Chatham HomeSchool

January 25, 2025: Concord, NC 28027

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC) and the visiting Chatham HomeSchool Thunder (Pittsboro, NC), observed Greater Cabarrus Stallions's basketball team knock off Chatham HomeSchool by a score of 70-57.

The Stallions (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Kingdom Leadership Academy (Fort Mill, SC). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Kingdom Leadership Academy was knocked off by UR Academy (Gastonia, NC), 49-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunder encounter the Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 27. Chatham HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 17-11 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 66-50 non-league win over South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC).
