North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions holds off South Charlotte

February 21, 2025: Matthews, NC 28079

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team scored a close 60-53 triumph over the South Charlotte Thunder.

The Stallions (20-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 23-14 record. In their last contest, South Guilford HomeSchool nipped NC Heat (Greensboro, NC), 56-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunder confront the Heritage Christian Athletics Falcons (Cleburne, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 4. South Charlotte will attempt to better on its 10-19 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 15-9 record after their 82-61 non-league loss to Red River (Gainesville, TX).
