The Grace Academy Lions basketball squad (Matthews, NC), lost 70-53 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Greater Cabarrus Stallions advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Stallions travel to NC Heat (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Heat in a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. The Heat enter the battle with a record of 10-5. NC Heat won 52-42 in their recent non-league battle against Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC)

The Lions now own a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walnut Grove Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 23.
