January 26, 2023: Temple Hills, MD 20748 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the host Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), saw Douglass's basketball squad wallop Crossland by a tally of 75-46.
With the victory, Douglass improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Surrattsville (Clinton, MD) to confront the Hornets in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Surrattsville lost 72-30 in their recent league challenge against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Crossland will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Clippers come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 61-58 league loss to Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD).
