George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV), 68-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, George Washington upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to play the Redskins in a Mountain State bout on Friday, February 3. The Redskins come into the bout with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Big Reds play the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Parkersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Redskins come into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 72-59 league loss to Huntington (Huntington, WV).
