January 26, 2024: Westside, IA 51467 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) and the host Ar-We-Va Rockets (Westside, IA), saw Woodbine's basketball squad overcome Ar-We-Va by a tally of 52-43.
With the victory, Woodbine improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Exira-EHK won 72-44 in their recent non-league challenge against West Harrison (Mondamin, IA)
Next up, the Rockets confront the Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers (Storm Lake, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Ar-We-Va will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 92-15 non-league loss to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA).
