North Carolina High School Basketball - Starmount trounced by Forbush
January 26, 2024: East Bend, NC 27018 The Forbush Falcons routed the visiting Starmount Rams basketball team by a final score of 60-25 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Falcons face the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) in a 2A Foothills game, on Tuesday, January 30. Forbush will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Blackhawks enter the game with a 10-7 record after their 35-31 league win over Surry Central (Dobson, NC).
With the defeat, Starmount moves to 3-14 on the year. The Rams travel to North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to face the Vikings in a 1A Northwest game on Tuesday, January 30. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 16-3. North Stokes won 42-27 in their recent league game against Elkin (Elkin, NC)
