North Carolina High School Basketball - Forbush crushes Starmount
December 15, 2023: Boonville, NC 27011 Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), 80-18 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Forbush upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Falcons host Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Rams confront the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 20. Starmount will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 68-44 league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).
