North Carolina High School Basketball - West Forsyth nips Parkland

January 26, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27127

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) and the host Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), saw West Forsyth's basketball squad hold off Parkland by a count of 44-37.

With the victory, West Forsyth upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to play the Bobcats in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-16. Glenn lost 46-34 in their recent league challenge against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)

Next up, the Mustangs play the R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Parkland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 50-42 league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).
