In Friday's league match, the visiting GlenOak Golden Eagles basketball team scored a good 55-47 triumph over the Hoover Vikings.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles meet the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a Federal match, on Tuesday, January 31. GlenOak will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Polar Bears enter the match with a 12-4 record after their 87-46 non-league win over Aurora (Aurora, OH).
