The GlenOak Golden Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Hoover Vikings to 48 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Hoban for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. GlenOak will battle a Knights team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.

The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ashland (Ashland, OH). The Arrows enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Ashland was nudged by Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH), 70-66, in a league contest.
