The Greenwich Cardinals basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Stamford Black Knights to 49 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trumbull for a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, January 31. Greenwich will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-46 league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

The Black Knights (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Rams enter the Fairfield County contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, New Canaan nudged Westhill (Stamford, CT), 72-26, in a league contest.
