The South Point Red Raiders basketball team (Belmont, NC), was overwhelmed 76-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC)

The Huskies now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a 3A Conference 50 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Huss will battle a Storm team coming off a 55-52 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Storm record now stands at 16-4.

The Red Raiders (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers come into the 3A Conference 50 battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Crest trounced Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC), 55-52, in a league battle.
