Arizona High School Basketball - Verrado crushes Desert Edge

The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) basketball crushed the host Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), 81-53 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Vipers now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Canyon View for a 5A Desert West bout on Tuesday, February 4. Verrado will play a Jaguars team coming off a 103-65 league win over Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 19-1.

With the loss, Desert Edge falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Scorpions host Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Trojans in a 5A Desert West bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Paradise Valley won 71-38 in their recent league bout against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ)
