In Tuesday's league contest, the host Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored a good 63-50 triumph over the Yerington Lions.

The Mustangs (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Wells (Wells, NV). The Leopards go into the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Wells topped Carlin (Carlin, NV), 50-24, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions confront the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) in a 2A Northern contest, on Saturday, February 1. Yerington will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record.
