Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Branch crushes Mount Union

January 29, 2025: Morrisdale, PA 16858

The West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), 62-33 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to Curwensville for a Moshannon Valley bout on Friday, January 31. West Branch will play a Golden Tide team coming off a 70-38 non-league loss to Keystone (Knox, PA). The Golden Tide record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Mount Union falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Trojans host McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 16-1. McConnellsburg won 75-21 in their recent league bout against Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA)
